full trip description and itinerary.... Shamanic Journeys: “Beyond Ritual”. Dobogoko, Hungary. October 9th – 13th 2013. Overview: This is a journey both into “ourselves” and to back to our origins. The Carpathian Mountains hold the earth’s heart energy- an emotional place (state of being), the key and doorway. We will walk and talk and journey with local shaman (the Tailtos), we will prepare ourselves to receive sacred knowledge. Each of us has our own mission on earth, as well as a collective responsibility (duty). That is what we seek to reconnect with... to know and activate our original dream. We are moving beyond ritual, beyond tightly held belief systems- not a physical place, but to a state of being, of thinking, of living aware of being aware. Our Journey: A caveman stands prepared with a bloodied lump of wood viewing tall trees, sifting delicate scents and timid buffalo. Beside him, a bug eyed creature with no mouth, nose or apparent will stands perplexed holding a glowing shard of brightly coloured glass. Suddenly, a third creature springs from the lagoon... they recognise him immediately. For they are brothers, and all are hungry. The earth is a beautifully engineered machine designed with one purpose- to facilitate and fuel the development of a new carbon based creature’s shift in consciousness to a level where it will one day take its rightful place as the foremost ambassador of super-consciousness on a cosmic scale. You are a wondrous little creature, time to acknowledge and accept that. It is time for everyone to know, “why we are here”. At this point in our story (2013) we have just succeeded in passing the greatest milestone. Were we a cake, the oven bell has sounded. Has the master chef succeeded? Did the ingredients gel? Are we ready? I believe we are. It is now a time for all humans not only to wake up, but to participate fully- to become aware of being aware and act accordingly. The long awaited future we have all dreamed of is finally here. The greatest challenge facing us now is to elevate ourselves (our collective consciousness) beyond our ritualised existence. These rituals take many forms, the most difficult of which to overcome is “duality”. It has many faces laden with traps to trip or trick the inexperienced mind. And we are all inexperienced, we are all naive. This is our beauty- our strength, we are children. And we are fearful of taking those first few steps, this is natural. How it works: Each day we will undertake a physical walk through the sacred forests following routes known only to the Tailtos. These routes take us to places of power, places of cleansing and knowledge. To “receive” we must prepare, the physical walk is our offering... The forests are full of dimensional gateways, not always visible to the naked eye. Everyone is free to move at their own pace, you heart will know what to do (though your head may often be confused ). Walks range from an hour or two (some are longer). Most people question the difficulty level, for example one is over rough terrain following a river gorge. Yes, some are physically challenging, but we move at an appropriate pace for all. People often stop and meditate / rest where appropriate for them. The local Shaman laugh at me when I ask about the physical challenge... the real challenge is the emotional journey (and it can be raw and intense). This process starts the moment you decide to take this journey, and continues after your return After a super breakfast each day- we need our calories for the adventure (vegetarian option available), we will meet to discuss the walk we will be undertaking that day. Walks start and finish at our lodge. Lunch is always served about 1pm at our lodge, people can have as much free time as they choose. Within 2 mins of the lodge there are 3 very sacred powerful spots (one of which is the favourite of the Dalai Lama, he visits Dobogoku every 3 years). Our afternoons vary between walks and meditations, our evenings (after dinner, Hungarian style) we hold talks with local Shaman and spiritual beings. We have four groups that want to meet us, there may be more. Peter is a “soul mechanic”, he will explain his “way” and chat with us informally. He is expert in working with your light body, he believes all physical manifestations (illness) is derived from emotional issues undealt with on the light body plain... more later. Another man is “Imre”, I can only describe him as gods chief architect, he worked for NASA for 35 years... he is a straight shooter, no mumbo jumbo for him He is the carrier (guardian) of the sacred seals- he is a scientist. He knows the workings of the earth as a machine. “Imre” is a very powerful masculine energy, he knows his mission on earth. He will discuss nothing previous to 65 million years ago, as he will only talk about what he has at least 3 sources of definite proof for. This man is staggering, he is a little nervous (the Hungarian government have arrested him many times for revealing sacred knowledge, in particular a cover up at an aluminium factory nearby). After a beer he has been known to sing old Hungarian chants into a deerskin drum, so much for “no mumbo jumbo ”. The final group who would like to work with us are a group of Knights (Magdalena Order). Their leader Andrew is wonderful, and speaks great English (he is a retired doctor). He is a towering man with an acute sense of fun and humour, you will see. He and his followers know that they came from the planet Sirius, he has much to reveal. Andrew’s group are very much focussed on “divine feminine energy”. This balances Imre, and indeed Peter (who hovers between both). The Hungarian people are very different to all nationalities I have been privileged to work with. They are firm, but always kind. Serious and childlike at the same time. “Brotherhood” is the Hungarian (nations) mission on earth. In Summary: A basic level of fitness is required, most of the walks take approx. 2 hours to complete (the longest walk is 7 km- a full day trip with lunch served en-route). It is possible to take shortcuts, less challenging ways back... but I would like people to try . Accommodation is basic, we will be staying in yurts (there is a little log house with 5 beds if anyone prefers, or perhaps we alternate). The ideal size for the group is 12 guests... I have already arranged for 2 local translators (only Andrew speaks English) and a local shaman will accompany us at all times, plus myself. Time permitting I would like to address the group on a few issues, in particular the direction perhaps we need to be moving towards... beyond ritual (all of which will be fully explained). We are moving into a heart space on this journey, and the head is not much use in there. Itinerary: We fly out Wednesday evening from London with Ryanair approx 5.30 pm... arriving 9pm local time- we have a 1 hour drive to the mountains. Our first day is to introduce ourselves and begin to experience the energies. We start slowly. A chat in the morning followed by a short walk in the afternoon... we may visit the “sun meditation” centre (link here youtube/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=2L284IInkQI – 2 min walk!) Before / after each is time to explore out own emotions in sacred spaces. One in particular is named the Dalai Lama rock (this is where he visits in Hungary every 3 years) the energy is gently, even playful, but commands self control and patience. Another is a small grotto (full of catholic imagery) but far far older- protected by a large rock, we face ourselves. The walks themselves have been specifically chosen to lead us inevitable and incrementally towards our greater goal. Each morning you may choose to join us in a morning meditation to greet the sunrise (5.45am- 6.45am). It is not mandatory...there will be an opportunity to participate in morning Yoga, or chanting, or meditation, or whatever the group feels like doing. You may also choose to stay in bed and sleep, the walks are tiring. Plus the energy needs to integrate within us. Arrive late Wednesday evening, 1 hour drive to mountain top. Day 1: Thursday 10th October - Breakfast (9-10 am) - Trip overview / explanations / introductions - Sun meditation centre visit and heart meditation ( 200 metres from yurts), the 3 sacred / special spaces (all within 150 metres) These spaces are for use whenever you feel the need, we have free time in the mornings, after lunch, late evening. Each space has its own unique energy, people are free to work in groups or an individuals. Should anyone prefer to skip a walk and remain in these spaces that is perfectly ok. - Lunch - Walk 1: Introductions (2 Hour walk, 2pm-4pm) We introduce ourselves with a very gentle walk through the forests visiting a massive rock in a place referred to as “bandit country” (all will be explained). This is where I first physically encountered the light beings. This place is magical... it is “what it needs to be” for everyone. - Dinner (about 7pm) - First chat: Peter, the soul mechanic and Laslo (the owner of the lodge and our full time shamanic guide). - Early to bed (the forests are perfectly safe to wander at night- bring a flashlight if this is something you may wish to do) We are far from towns, high in the mountains, the night sky is illuminated with stars. Day 2: Friday 11th October - Optional Morning Meditation or Yoga session: Buddhist (SGI) chanting on viewing platform overlooking River Danube and Carpathian mountains (or as you wish, the last group I took there in April were too tired to get up at 6 am, thats ok too. The energies are intense and need to integrate. Sleeping and lucid dreaming are a pretty good way of doing this too). - Breakfast - Walk 2: Thirring körút (3 hours, 10am – 1pm) This is the “Kings Walk”; a rite of passage for ancient kings (an initiation), who were obliged to undertake this task to connect with sacred energies in order to be able to lead their people. Walking this path serves to improve our spiritual connection to the earth and sky, protected by our ancestors. It is recommended that we make this journey into the sacred groves in total silence as a mark of our sincerity and to hear / be aware of our own heart beat. We journey to experience the power of light and love as our ancestors understood. The physical shape of the walk represents the contours of aTurul Bird (sacred symbol / mythical bird creator of Hungary). - Lunch - Afternoon free to practice as you wish, I will possibly arrange a “rock making” demonstration this afternoon depending on Imre’s schedule. So you believe the ancient Egyptians carried large rocks up ramps to make the pyramids... think again! We will show you how they did it. This technology applies to most ancient sites in the world. Our ancestors knew how. Primary ingredient, cottage cheese - Dinner: Hungarian Style! ( Outdoors weather permitting) with new friends and music. Chat number 2: Imre (the retired NASA architect) - Early to bed: The following days walk is challenging. Day 3: Saturday 12th October - Morning Meditation: @ Dalai Lama rock (or as you wish) - Breakfast - Walk 3: Rám-szakadék part 1 (3hours) approx. Meaning is “Deep Place”. We undertake this journey to possibly meet our darker-self, face our fears and enter our own souls. This is a long journey both physically and mentally. - Lunch (outdoor picnic en route) -Walk 3: part 2 We continue to Ferenczy-szikla. The old Hungarian ta’ltos religion believe that this place makes the exact point of the earth’s heart chakra. “Attila the Hun” believed this spot to be the most precious place in the Carpathian basin. The place has been visited by thousands of pilgrims seeking physical healing and higher knowledge including many Lamas from Cambodia, Laos and the Dalai Lama himself. -Dinner - Chat number 3: Andrew and the knights of Magdalena- they guys from “Sirius”, divine mother energy. And fun, with a few spiritual exercises and surprises. - Early to bed! (we will be tired both physically and emotionally) Day 4: Sunday 13th April - Breakfast - Walk 4: At the discression of Lazlo . We seal our work, celebrate our experiences and drink from the holy well. We will perform a small ceremony here, last time we ended up in a sort of fairy circle... I don’t know how yet we as a group will do it. But I am looking forward to it I would like to recommend we form a circle at the NIMROD rock (yep, he was Hungarian too) In ancient lore here is seen as the creator (more later). - Late Lunch - Free time to pack and say goodbyes to people and places. - We leave for the airport at 6 or 7pm depending on our Ryanair chariot. - Flight Home arriving London late evening local time about 11pm (1 hour difference) Flight details (currently £69 GBP return with ryanair) Wednesday evening 9th October to Sunday evening 13th October.
