had a great time tonight with my son at the showing of the Unbelievers, a Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss Movie and the q and a after..As i looked over during the movie I thought i would see my son texting surfing FB, nope all i saw was him engrossed in the movie.. Most people ask since i am an Atheist what do i tell my son, I tell him this, i want you to look at the world as a place to gain knowledge, that its ok to not know an answer that the best part of life is learning and science can help you advance your knowledge in understanding the world around you and life becomes more exciting when you are willing and want to learn and that how boring it would be if you had all the answers, or learn the same thing over and over.. but most important, if someday religion is what you choose, it wont be because of me brain washing you of a belief, it will be your choose based on reason and knowledge.. thanks for a great evening Nick Pastorello...I love how you put thought into knowledge, and how you love science that you are learning to ask questions, to form your own conclusion based on facts reason and knowledge, even if it is something you dont like, because fact is fact, so I couldnt imagine seeing this movie with anyone else... I asked Nick, after the movie what part stuck out, what part made go huh? for him it was simple, he saw a sign during the movie, that said science went to the moon, Religion went into a building i asked him why, he said, cause it pretty much sums it up..
