happy robbie burns, my friends. many, many things, people, songs. take me right back to being behind the bar in the 80s. robbie burns would be addressed, more so than celebrated. i mean, it was no william blakes birthday, or anything. there was the friday/saturday regulars. this was back in the stationary, against the law to walk around with a drink, days. so, mostly the same cast, with guest appearances. discretion dictates anonymity, but suffice it to say, they were, funny, smart, and would most likely quote burns, debate and then get pissed. i flat out loved those shifts. this is such a pretty version of such a pretty song. traditional, but in a non eviscerating sort of way. emotionally speaking. https://youtube/watch?v=_l9uJO9yOaQ
