hey guys! im so excited to see that you are all posting links and expressing your interest in gender equality. this video is one of my personal favorites. some of you may be familiar with chimamanda ngozi adichie and her ted talk, as it is featured in beyoncés song ***Flawless. Chimamanda is a fellow feminist and a brilliant author, and her ted talk touches upon so many important observations about the way we raise boys and girls in todays society. i know this video is relatively long, but i strongly recommend watching the the entire thing (its a great way to procrastinate doing your late night hw). *lastly- i know that a ton of boys have been added to this group and although none of you have been showing up to the meetings (with the exception of pepe and rafa), i think its really important that boys share their thoughts and views on feminism. for a club that is advocating for gender equality, the goal is that our ideas are represented through BOTH genders :) youtube/watch?v=hg3umXU_qWc
