Wages & salaries include, but are not limited to, money paid to our full-time staff, such as teachers, producers, trainees and administration staff. Overhead expenditures include, but are not limited to, building equipment and groung maintenance, electricity, water, sweage, business travel allowance, postage, fuel and telephone charges. “Profit Margin” although we are a non-profit organization(RSHEDF) and JOYJATRA is a enterprise project for women empowerment , we have included a modest profit margin of 5%, but it is not profit in typical sense, This money is used to provide our members with skills training, new manufacturing equipment, bonuses, scholarships and assistance to members who become injured or sick. But that is not all. JOYJATRA gives a performance reward to an especially hardworking woman in each department. JOYJATRA also provides its workers with a clothing allowance, 60 days paid maternity leave, emergency allowance, free health checkups, education on social issues and the environment, English language training, education excursions and education scholarships to the women’s daughters.
