Winona was living with us and we were taking care of her. On Oct 24 she didnt have the strength to sit up and she said, Im useless. She was holding my hand and I had tears coming down my face. We took her to Einstein Hospital. Her kidneys function had dropped to 15 percent. She stayed at Einstein Hospital for 7 days At Einstein Hospital Me and my family and friends were visiting her around the clock. I was with my Mom 10 to 11 hours a day and I stayed with her one night into the next day 31 hours. No males are allow to stay overnight at Einstein Hospital when theres a female. The other person in her room told the doctor that she doesnt have a problem with me staying overnight. I would have stayed with my Mom more than one night but the other nice person in her room wasnt there anymore. she was transfer to Calvary Hospital on Oct 31 My Mom was very strong and she was trying to hold on all the way to the end. On Nov 2nd ( It was my sisters birthday ) about 3:20 PM her kidneys stopped working. Me and my sisters were by her side. I saw her gasping for air and then she stopped breathing. She died of Kidney Failure. When her kidneys dropped to 15 percent she started experiencing these symptoms and I saw it with my own two eyes. 1 - Legs ankles feet swollen 2 - Shortness of breath 3 - Right palm of hand very itchy 4 - Skin color looks yellowish especially the legs 5 - Loss of appetite 6 - She threw up two different times 6 - Her muscles were feeling weak 7 - She was feeling very, very tired all the time 8 - She was feeling cold all the time ( her room temp was 85 ) 9 - She was confused sometimes My Moms first name was spelled like this, Wynona, and then she changed the Y to an i, Winona. My Mom had an Hawaii outfit when she was 19 years old and that picture was taken in Queens. My Moms dream was to go to Hawaii : (
