https://youtube/watch?v=1ANqw70irpI This is a video I took when my tour went to Dominus Flevit, a small Catholic chapel on the beautiful Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. When we arrived, there was a worship service taking place. We were outside the chapel, but could hear the worship and see service through a side door. I stooped down to take this video. This man was playing the most beautiful music Ive heard. It wasnt long before my focus went from capturing memories to joining in with the service in my own way. I couldnt go in, so I just bowed my head and prayed right there stooped down at the door as tears came to my eyes... This was one of the most moving experiences of my journey in Israel, and it was befitting since we were at Dominus Flevit, which is Latin for the Lord Wept. This was the area from which Jesus wept for Jerusalem as he overlooked the temple mount with his disciples, and being there really impacted, and overwhelmed me at that moment. This gentleman has since so inspired me to lead worship with that kind of purity. I hope God can use me to play and sing like this someday! It was awesome because later I got to shake hands with him and tell him his worship was beautiful (motioning playing a guitar and then my hand on my heart) since there was a language barrier. I really couldnt understand what the song says, it sounds like Portuguese to me. If anyone understands the lyrics or recognizes the song please let me know!!!
