i am watching this movie and the Woodstock locale and the soundtrack cant help but bring me back to that era when i came of age at 15 .I emerged from the festival with a sense of tribe that permeated my gestalt of being up until even now.This was the most powerful feeling i had ever had at that time ,that is feeling a part of something ,an integral part of a live consciousness that was intuitive and vital.At Woodstock i decided ,no it was incumbent on me to become part of a revolution where the old rules were crumbling and we were free to write our own on the blackboard of our existence.I did not falter ,i did not over think.I rose and took it all in hand and rode the tide of the times and i have never regretted it.The communes i lived in since Woodstock ,in Montreal,Vancouver Island,New York and California only reinforced that feeling and i grew up ,way up ,in that milieu and it was damn wonderful.When i left the communes i almost had to relearn how to eat with a fork again after all those years of using chopsticks.lol
