i feel in my heart, a wish to say, in these days of rising anti-semitism among Christians: i find it abhorrent. you need to really check your facts. and you need to turn off CNN and NPR. who are no friends of Israel. you need to understand that Hamas is putting their children in harms way, to turn YOUR heart against Israel. that they have declared in their constitution the desire to destroy Israel. NOT negotiate peace. you need to understand that the IDF are texting people, sending warnings, dropping leaflets, even caring for the wounded in their hospitals. when have you ever heard of such a thing in war? you need to learn, really learn, how beloved Israel is to God, and have a spine. we need to lose our arrogance about who we think Israel is, when we have NO business condemning them. its really easy to speak when we dont have rockets being fired at us day and night. and i think thats part of our arrogance. we have no clue of the realities of Living that Way. we might be different if we were Living in bomb shelters, having seconds to flee to safety. this is no small thing. and there are no guarantees we wont be facing the same threats in the future. we need to pray for eyes to see, not just worry about being accepted by the masses. the bible says that the whole world will turn against Israel. obviously, disgustingly, this is happening within the body of Christ, and i believe will become a massive fracture among us. but you hear me now: i stand with israel, i have a Love for them that rises up in me that feels as if my own children are being attacked. i have compassion on innocent palestinians caught in the awful battle of those who hate israel. obviously, so do the Israelis. but i will not side with hamas. i will not accept any argument that justifies slaughtering the Jews. if i had to, i would lay my Life down for them. i believe its my Love for Christ that drives this passion, the influence of corrie ten boom on my soul, and perhaps even, the Way i entered this world. an innocent, at the hand of a murderer. with so many who would justify that murder. yet delivered, and always will be, by Jesus. so i want to write and publicly give my Love to my jewish friends on my wall in this hour, i know there are more, and please tell me who you are. but i send my deep Love in Jesus, to my Masha, and my Briana . i bless you always.
