i need to get this out of me. this serves as a reminder. when your in a dawah organisation, charity, association or any organisation. please note that whether it is paid or unpaid where SOS Muslim Project student-led is the latter for the sake of Allah. please ensure that you take it seriously; its amanah. so what is amanah? Amanah literally means TRUST, RELIABILITY, and HONESTY. In Surah Al Ahzab; Allah says: Surely We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to undertake it and feared from it, but man undertook it; surely he is unjust, ignorant (al-Ahzab, 33:72). The concept of amanah binds individuals with society. if you are unable to commit to role please say so as then the director of whatever organisation; charity; association will find someone else who is able to commit to the role. if there is a deadline and you are unable to adhere to it; its important you speak to the Director. Islam taught me and you to be honest and straightforward. Its no point saying yeah yeah ill do it and dont end up doing it. SOS Muslim Project student-led org website hasnt been updated for nearly two years since December 2012 to be franked and weve done bare things ever since that. This is due to being messed and pushed around by several brothers and sisters. Sliced my own heart out when ive been taken here and there and everywhere. the Muslim Ummah needs to fear Allah. when you join an organisation or so forth; make the intention for your own Akhirah; its not about building up CV or being popular. ill be developing a new website for SOS in sha Allah and releasing it for Muharram in sha Allah; new year with my honest team with the amazing things we did for His Sake; rely on no one but Allah
