i think phoenix is on its way to another top 10 ranking it doesnt want. as of right now weve had 12 officer involved shootings this year. we had 2 yesterday alone 2 dead one was an officer 2 wounded one was an officer. i try to rationalize why we seem to be having such a rise in gun play in this city everyone seems to think gun control is the answer but the people that start these gun battles are not your average citizens trying to protect themselves they are the extremely lawless trying not to go to jail. my fear is that eventually people that are simply trying to make a living and raise their families will be killed in a senseless manner. both of these shootings occurred in busy intersections surrounded by retail outlets.i could carry a gun but how does that protect me from random gun fire. solutions i have none but hopefully my faith in god will protect me while i buy my weekly groceries and put gas in my car. the one thing i know for sure is i will not bury my head in the sand from fear i never had and i will not start now. BE SAFE AND WHEN YOUR OUT AND ABOUT KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN AND BE ALERT.!!!!!!
