i was born from catholic parents. i was baptized and confirmed as catholic. i graduated from the university of sto tomas. i was college professor at the university of the assumption san fernando. i married catholic. all my four children were baptized catholic... for all practical purposes i will die a catholic by affiliation but not practice... to qualify, i grew up believing in the three kings,melchor gasphar and balthazar... they do not exist in the bible (Matthew 2:7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.) ... i studied the doctrines of other religions. they have shortcomings also. the iglesia ni cristo says that there is no salvation without joining them... it is very clear in the bible that the jew are the chosen ones but there is no need to convert (Romans 11:24 You Gentiles are like the branch of a wild olive tree that is broken off and then, contrary to nature, is joined to a cultivated olive tree. The Jews are like this cultivated tree; and it will be much easier for God to join these broken-off branches to their own tree again)... born again doctrine is CERTAINTY of salvation upon acceptance of christ. judas iscariot was handpicked by jesus himself and he fell, on the other hand, saul who was renamed paul was outright persecuting the church but was selected to become an apostle to the gentiles (Acts 26:14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.) THE LESSON FOR ME IS THAT GOD OWNS ALL AND IT IS IMPORTANT TO CLEANSE THE HEART AND LOVE THE ENEMY... KEEP THE GOOD AND DISCARD THE BAD... REMEMBER WHEN YOU GIVE A DIRTY BABY A BATH, DO NOT THROW AWAY THE BABY TOGETHER WITH THE BATH WATER
