iain Lawson, Paisley Another week, another think tank. What would you like the deficit to be this week? Leave it with us we will see what we can do. Initially the treasury told us we would be £1 a year worse off, then that became £500, then £750, theYes vote keeps increasing.so its now £1000. As other posters have highlighted all these forecasts, for forecasts are what they are, are based on an assumption, a pretty stupid one at that, that any Scottish Government would operate identical policies to Westminister. So Scotland is presumed in these forecasts to be a partial nuclear power, our troups have signed up to wars all over the globe, we have a huge privatisation programme, enormous debt but no currency rights, we are still paying for all the ridiculous costs of Westminister and the House of Lords etc etc. The bottom line is Scotland in terms of GDP per capita is the 14th most wealthy country, while the UK is in 18th place in the wealth league tables. These are not SNP figures, these are figures which nobody contests including the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times as well as countless international bodies like the OECD etc. Telling me something based on figures from the OBR is completely a waste of time, it is not independent, it is a tool of Westminister, it is part of the campaign to mislead and to scare and should not be taken seriously by anyone wanting anything like the true and accurate position. heraldscotland/politics/referendum-news/think-tank-warns-scotland-will-be-worse-off-than-rest-of-uk-by-2018-x.23761412
