if you know anything about the call I got from Triple R last night at 12:37am then talk to me... If that was actually genuine then it was hands down the worst piece of radio I have had any involvement in at all. 1. woken up by a phone call telling me Id won a ticket to Merideth, a conversation that I was actually genuinely asleep right through. 2. Told after we had spent a few minutes having said god awful conversation that we were actually live to air. 3. He introduces the front man from Brian Jonestown massacre into said asleep conversation (these guys are band whos name I know and thats it so you can imagine how awkward I feel at this point). 4. I hang up and go back to sleep Teenage Hate the show that was on air has no Brian Jonestown Massacre in their play list for the night at all. Ive listened back to the on demand version of the show and there is no conversation with me at 12:37 and no interview with the front man from Brian Jonestown Massacre at any point through the show. Im not a Triple R subscriber so Im not eligible to enter (let alone win) any comp they run. In the end Id just finally got to the point of accepting that I wasnt going, Kaela and decided not to come so I would have to do the trip on my own and have no idea who I would be camping with (dont have any idea whos going) so even if it is legit Im not going to take the ticket. If someone did actually put my name down for something with Triple R, thanks so much for thinking of me but that experience was so freaking weird.
