ihrc.pl/lithuania_-_vilnius.html IHRC IS GETTING CLOSER TO THE IMPORATNT DAY OF ISSUING ITS FORMAL DIPLOMATIC DOCUMENTS AND PASSPORTS…IHRC AT POLAND At the request of the IHRC Charman, Ambassador Shadid Amnin Khan, Secretary General IHRC, Ambassador Rafal Marcin Wasik visited Vilnus, capital of Lithuania with the purpose of establishing the process of preparing and issuing the diplomatic documents and passports for IHRC. The Geneva based Association Agence International de la sécurité publique in collaboration with IHRC introduced Mr. Wasik to Garsu Pasaulis UAB, a leader among the companies engaged in the production of security printing in the Baltic States. In addition to the high quality commercial printing, the company prints passports and myriad of valuable documents for many countries. The Chairman of the company BOD, Mr. Vytautas Vainikonis, gave the tour of the company facilities and then focussed with Mr Wasik on the specifics of the future documents and diplomatic passports issued by IHRC. Secretary General also was invited by the Chief of Migration Board of Vilnus, Country Police Headquarters, MrGintarasBaguzis, who presented the whole process of collection the biometric data for the documents, including the electronic equipment used for collection of necessary data which will be further personalized and embedded in the relevant document. After this interesting and fruitful visit, Mr Wasik went to the Personalization of Identity Documents Centre at the Lithuanian Ministry of the Interior, where the blank documents are personalized. The entire process was presented by the Director Mr. Ramunas Zickis. On behalf of the entire IHRC team, we are very grateful to all parties for the warm and factual reception.
