im confused - can anyone help? It says on the DVLA website that with a category B license i can tow trailer if the total weight of the vehicle and trailer isnt more than 3500kg. So does this mean that i dont need to take the trailer test (B+E) if i am towing my horse and the car/trailer/horse combined is under 3.5 tonne? It then says that with the category B+E that i can drive a category B vehicle with a trailer when they have a combined weight over 3,500kg. So with the B+E can you tow the max gross weight of the trailer (i have ifor williams which the gross weight is 2340kg) plus the weight of car? Thanks in advance :)
