im not sure if this is the appropriate place, but i need some - TopicsExpress

im not sure if this is the appropriate place, but i need some advice: back when i was 10 years old, i had a severe flare up of the joints where i could not move whatsoever because it was too painful. my body was swollen and the docs confirmed that it was joint problems. this went on for several days. after that, i was ok. in the recent years since like 2011 or so i started noticing that my knees would hurt quite a bit every time i walked, bent them, ran, and went downhill or down the stairs. this continued on for a certain amount of time, then it would stop, and it would start again on the opposite knee. ive also noticed that i cannot write on paper at all because my fingers get stuck and i cant move them afterward. this year this pain started spreading all over my body - wrists, fingers, elbows, both knees, feet, shoulders, lower back, and now my chest. i brought this up to my doctors earlier this year and they thought i might have a rheumatoid disease so they told me i should see a rheumatologist, but unfortunately that didnt happen. (i am moving this friday so i will try to get a referral at my new clinic). my doctor pointed out that i have some fluid build up in my knees, and that asme day i had clinic i had to be taken on a wheelchair because my knee would get stuck or lock itself and it would be too painful for me to even move. i usually have to drag my feet if im in a lot of pain because i cant walk normally, and yesterday i noticed some fluid build up in my elbows. my body was hurting all over yesterday, i was feeling fatigued, and i couldnt breathe because my chest hurt so bad. keep in mind my PFTs were 95% two weeks ago and my o2 sats is 98-99 which Ive been monitorign all day. Last night I developed a fever of 101.3 and when I woke up this morning it was gone, however today the pain still remains and it is prominent in my chest, fingers, and feet. i also noticed that earlier this year, i always felt some numb/tingling sensation in both my arms that i always tried to bring up to my doctors but they wouldnt do anythng about it. they just dismissed it because i was fine. the pain gets so severe sometimes that i am left in tears and i cant lay down because it hurts too much. i usually try to tough it out without the use of pain medications because i dont want to develop a dependency towards them. but tonight i just couldnt tough it out because im in so much freakin pain. Does anyone know what causes this and what this could be? 20/F/CFer/6 yrs double lung tx/ Prednisone, Cellcept, Tacro also if it helps i was diagnosed with osteoporosis last year
