in perfumed glades the blossoms bloomed, beautious to behold, whilst among the leafied rooms, sweet creatures they enfold. now the moon shines in the glade and shows it light to all, they come from out their leafy shade, answering to the call. pixies, elves and fairies too, are but a few i see, as they all come in to view, sweet sounds are heard by me. the lights of elfin lanterns shine and fireflies all aglow, brighten this old heart of mine, to see friends Ive got to know. the fairy queen then welcomes me, to join the happy throng, so many friends around me be, singing their joyful song. how honoured i to be a part, of this merriment this night, as the dancing begins to start, it is a wonderous sight. until the dawn we sang and danced and mother nature blessed, and as the morning light entranced, they wee gone once more to rest. yet sorrow i hold none my friend, for another time will come, when magic to my eyes will send, visions of wonders seen and done.
