it saddens and pains me to see people living in informal settlements in corrugated zinc dwellings in okahandja park or whateveryou call that place. namibia has its on ports but our fish is very expensive. caprivi and kavango has the countrys best agriculutral land able to feed the entire nation but the two regions are the most poorest and hungry prone in namibia.deposits of uraniumand diamonds are chiefly owned by multinational companies with their black puppets whose profits go back to western capitals. we have many absentee landlords in this country while the majority of indigenous blacks are homeless.sometimes you can be mistaken to think namibia is colonised by the germans. they are enjoying the resources of the country. the same applies to south africa., infact the whole of africa. africa is a catastrophe. tribalism, racism are order of the day, we are so preoccupied with our ethinicity and tribal allegiances instead of our commonalities as members of the mighty black race and africans for that. we are part of a continent with diverse cultures and natural beauty. 2035 african languages and 6700 dialects spoken by 8000 ethinuic groups makes us unique among other species of humanity. however, the question is, do we really appreciate these rich heritage? 2035 and 6700 languages and dialects yet we are still mentally colonised by racist white peoples languages e.g english, french, portuguese, spanish and of course my mortal enemy afrikaans. special congratulations to kenya, tanzania and uganda(swahili), egypt, morroco, tunisia, algeria, sudan, libya (arabic), somalia (somali) and ethiopia (ammaric) for doing away with racist tongues and replacing them with indigenous languages. economically, africa is said to house countries that have fast growing economies driven by natural resources but how much money from these resources cascades down to the masses? angolas economy is the fastest growing in southern africa, but the majority of angolans are living in dire poverty. the wealth of the country is concentrated among the minority ruling self hating class aligned to the ruling mpla. nigeria recently according to experts overtook south africa as the biggest economy in africa but the country cant even afford to refine its own oil riches and it is struggling to defeat a boko haram insurgency in the north and the oil rebellion in the niger delta. south africa often heaped with praises as the europe of africa is failling to uplift the living standards of its people despite political and economic stability. our race has survived 400 years of domination and oppression by other races but a black man is still standing. if we could overcome all the atrocities inflicted on us by the white man and the arab man for that long why cant we revive ourselves and liberate ourselves from this economic bondage with the west? for how long will a white man control our destiny?
