Arsenal are planning to make an improved offer for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez after seeing a £30 million bid for the striker turned down, SportsDirect News has learned. The Uruguay international claims the English media victimised him last season and it is understood the 26-year-old is looking for a move away from Anfield. Real Madrid were the favourites to land his signature due to his desire to escape the press in England but the Gunners have made an audacious attempt to take the forward to the Emirates Stadium. Publicly Liverpool have insisted Suarez is not for sale but it is thought that the Merseyside club will consider letting the striker leave the Reds should they receive a bid in the region of £50m. SportsDirect News sources have now said that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will continue his pursuit of Suarez by returning with an improved offer for his services. However, the north Londoners will most likely fail in their bid to sign the 26-year-old as Liverpool do not want to sell Suarez to a Premier League rival should they decide to let him leave this summer.
