ive noticed ... a couple of evenings back i was invited for dinner and jamming with six others ... three incredible couples; all musicians of the talented kind..really really talented guitarists/singers/harmonica players... the evening was amazing. sitting on the floor solo with my guitar belting out songs from my heart and soul; different than before. ive noticed ... the last eight or so challenging years (economically/physically/soulfully) have taken me somewhere and singing from that place of lost/found/empty/full/blind/seeing ... wow. its different. learning to let go and let god has changed me ... my voice ... my music ... my everything. ive noticed ... the harder life is ... the better my voice sounds. even when a little off key; the soul is right on and somehow, the imperfect becomes perfect and there is a knowing inside to just open up and let it out. ive noticed a lot these days ...
