just sent to david pierotti ,councillor mc donald and joe mc guire Hi david just a wee update on the issues with parking in the streets, i know you have passed on to the staff at the new outlets regarding your available parking areas, but as we said before this is not being used by some of the staff, also we have monitored people parking and their destinations and found that the majority of them are using silverburn but not the car parks (as we said would happen) this is just the beginning as anybody with local knowledge would agree that when the other bigger outlets open it is inevitable that this will escalated both in volume and duration. as we keep saying something has to be put in place to prevent this from happening. as of today i will be keeping a photo diary with times and durations of all vehicles in the street and where possible destination of occupants so there is no dispute for future reference. with regard health centre /civic realm we still have the same problem in the same areas and with the contractors the problem has moved to the other side of the barrhead rd, i.e. maidland rd and colinslie rd . as i said just a wee update. cheers gerry
