just wanted to let everyone know that next Saturday, the 17th, the Waukee Legion Riders are having a "family friendly" poker run. The Waukee legion auxillery on 6th street in Waukee will be serving breakfast at 830. Kick stands up at 1000. Leave the Waukee Legion Hall and take a scenic ride on White Pole Road with stops at the Redfield, Dexter, and Menlo Legion Halls. Then on to Freedom Rock and finishing the ride at the Casey Café. We will have grills set up in front of the café and be serving burgers and brats. Costs are minimal check out the flyer in the window. It is a Family Friendly event, no motorcycle no problem bring the family in the car! Proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project! It is a Poker Run so best hand will win a prize and also raffle tickets sold for other prizes. Possibly an auction too???? LOL All infos on the flyer so bring the families out and support the Wounded Warriors Project!!! Inclement weather location will be the park in Casey.
