larouchepac/node/30180 March 15, 2014 • 10:08AM Lyndon LaRouche asserted commanding leadership in his appearance on Press TVs half-hour Debate program Friday. The subject was developments around Crimea developments, where the former U.S. Presidential candidate and founder of Executive Intelligence Review was interviewed along with Michael Lane, founder of the American Institute for Foreign Policy. Debates host reported that the show will be posted for reviewing under Programs, and it is a must-see. What follows are quick notes dashed out as the fast-paced show developed, focused on what LaRouche had to say. From the first question on what kind of measures Secretary of State Kerry, et al., might take, LaRouche reshaped the terrain: Putin will probably not concede, and he has no reason to do so, because the Presidency of Ukraine is not clear; the President of the U.S. says its clear, but it is not. Crimea has been an integral part of Russia since the time of Catherine the Great. The President of the U.S. is pushing close to the threshold of war. That does not mean it will happen; Obama is in big trouble back home. The U.S. government in general does not want this war. The President is acting as a wild man. Hes in deep trouble with the Senate in the U.S.; impeachable offenses. The United States doesnt want thermonuclear war. The President of the U.S., backed by the Queen of England, does. The people and government, no. The second question to LaRouche asked about military measures, citing reports of a U.S. drone over Crimea. This is not about Crimea, LaRouche answered. The scenario is thermonuclear World War III. Today, tomorrow, or beyond—as long as Obama remains as President, it is certain there will be nuclear war. The President is acting beyond his authority in going for thermonuclear war. Active impeachment could come within hours. Here Lane objected, that while he agrees that the Presidents transgressions are severe, that there is a very legitimate case to do it, Congress doesnt have the political will to do it. A third question to LaRouche focused along the lines of what could trigger conflict: Kerrys severe reaction threats? Did he think Russia would move beyond Crimea into Ukraine? The Germans dont want this; Merkel does, but not others, LaRouche answered. The Poles dont want it either, because they know the Ukraine government is not a government, but fascist. In the United States there could be immediate charges brought against Obama for high crimes and misdemeanors committed; impeachment can come down fast. That doesnt mean hed be thrown out of office, but hed be suspended. Hes out on a limb, acting alone, and when hes preparing for war, impeachment could come down fast. He has no popularity; people are intimidated, acting out of fear, but rage is building up. It could be close in the Senate and the House. Hes highly impeachable, on the eve of war, so his war powers have to be suspended. This would not be a regional war; not a NATO war: but a thermonuclear, global war. Lane, asked about something else, felt he had to answer LaRouche first. He said he agreed with LaRouches bill of impeachment, but were on the eve of the midterm elections. The Dems are going to swept out, and the Repubs wont do it. Then, after babbling that United States had not destabilized Ukraine, and Obamas error was in trusting Putin, etc., he insisted there will be no thermonuclear war; Obama doesnt have the stomach for that. Final question was to LaRouche: Will there be fall-out in other areas of U.S.-Russian relations? LaRouche answered: The big factor left out in the strategic picture is that the trans-Atlantic system is bankrupt; thats Wall Street, which has taken over the U.S. under the last two presidencies, is about to go bankrupt through bail-in: the 70th floor elevator image: this crisis is caused by that bankruptcy; one way of dealing with it, is to try to go to war. The Cheney government started all this; the Saudis pulled off 9/11. Their system is bankrupt; bail-in coming, and when that happens it will be like what happened to Germany after World War I.
