my thank you note by karin taylor it is morning after mourning and my soul is refreshed despite the pain that living brings my heart is intermeshed with those around me no one plied me open like an oyster but I came to you freely with an open trust I was rewarded by love Honesty is not always received so well Openness is not always the best measure I am thankful that at my lowest no-one cursed me thrice I am grateful that in my darkest no-one took advantage of my brokenness I am appreciative tho all seemed lost my world turned to dross perfect strangers clambered on board my sinking ship putting life buoys about my waist singing me songs of love of bravery, of utmost courage telling me stories of survival and keeping me afloat until I could tread water again The friends who welcomed me in despite the misery I brought with me knowing it would bring them down also in their selflessness, gave me the key to their open door one can never repay such deeds only pay it forward like a giant ripple going out into all the world spreading loving kindness to the masses as each one of us, offer love, friendship, understanding the flow and outpouring reminds me of the ocean in motion on a high tide approach no a king tide, there is a fullness that is overflowing and then came the moon all-knowing this is my thank you note
