n Baali Sea BeachGurudev then narrated an amazing story of a Rickshaw Driver in Delhi in 1980…. Gurudev: I will tell you a story. It was in 1980 or something, long time ago. Once I was travelling from a suburb to heart of Delhi, Cannaught place in car with one of my assistant and a couple also wanted to go that place. So I gave them lift in my car & we went. It is long distance from that place to Cannaught place. I had gone there for some work, I dont remember what work now. So when we reached there, I told the assistant/driver to drop the couple where they wanted to go & I will take an autorickshaw way back home. It was expensive those days, around Rs. 50/- to go from Cannaught place, now it might be even Rs. 500/-. After my work got over, i took an auto. So when I was sitting in the auto, the autorickshaw driver happily said that I was waiting all these years for you to come. When I sat in the auto i saw that on both the sides he had put pictures of movie stars. So the driver said I cannot put the picture of whom I like as he has no face, so I have put these pictures. Then he said I am happy that my wait is over. I was waiting for you to come. HE is only sitting at the backside & HE only is driving! Guruji said that how beautifully the driver said philosophy of advaita in simple words! Just an autorickshaw driver but so much of knowledge he has. And when we reached my place I took out money to give it to the driver, but the driver refused to take it. He said please dont break this relationship. I dont want to accept this money & end this relationship here. I gave you lift here so that you can help me & give me lift there, to cross from one place to another! I want you to be indebted to me so that you give me lift there!
