need help! Ok, I am restoring a 2nd gen Formula 400. The engine is a remanufactured I was looking at the heads today and am very confused. They are 4X, but the secondary ID is 7H (early 1973 head)on one and just 4 ( a late 1972 head) on the other not 4H, anyway all the research I have done says the first head is 2.11/1.66 98 cc head and the second is 1.96/1.66 98cc head. Is this possible two different valve size heads on an engine that ran just fine? I am no engine guy but I assume that the valve size would be the same? can anyone help me understand?
