never given much thought to this until passing it today on an errand for the History Department here.. alright so as a graduating senior managerial finance major of Ole Miss Id like to ask my fellow students how they feel about the confederate statue in the circle, 100 yards from James Merediths , where our university commemorates the fallen confederate soldiers of Lafayette county and call them heros saying they made many battlefields honorabe with their death in so many words. Are there deaths valiant or should they have died a fools death for attempting ultimately to uphold slavery?
