note to self (as I replay last night in my head): next time you crash a party sporting fresh professionally done hair and an ensemble a 20-something might actually consider attractively trendy, and there is an exceptionally well dressed and groomed man standing comfortably alone in the kitchen, walk over to him and say: What an unexpected treat-im so interested in how you are taking on the job and know you are going to be great.
