(notes on the state of the union address) unedited Today in America a teacher spent extra time with a student who needed it.. an entrepreneur.. an automaker.. a farmer.. a rural doctor.. a man from the grave yard shift.. this chamber speaks to the people it represents its citizens, who make our state of this union strong.. lowest unemployment.. rebounding housing market.. manufacturing thats adding jobs.. deficit cuts more than half... business leaders have decided china is no longer the place to invest, America is.. U.S. better position than any other nation.. what unites the people of this nation..the belief of opportunity for all. the belief has suffered blows.. stock prices have rarely been higher.. to many Americans are working to hard just to get by.. here in America our success should depend not ON ACCIDENT OF BIRTH, but, but the strength of our work ethic.. thats what drew our forefathers here.. how a barkeep is speaker of the house.. how the son of a single mom can be the president of the greatest nation on earth.. in-sourcing jobs from abroad.. tax code is riddled with loopholes.. rebuild roads upgrading ports unclogging our commutes.. first class infrastructure we need congress to protect more than 3 million jobs by finishing transportation and waterways bills this summer.. more construction workers on the job.. we have the chance to beat other countries in manufacturing jobs.. help America lead the world in new technologies.. 98% of exporter are small businesss.. stamped made in the u.s.a.... federal funded research lead to things like Google and smartphones... unleash the next great American discovery.. entire industries to be built.. paper thin material thats stronger than steal... pass a patent reform bill... America is closer to energy independence, one reason natural gas..if extract safely is the bridge fuel.. business plan to invest 100 billion to new factorys that use natural gas.. cut red tape to get factories built and put folks to work.. this congress can help by putting people to work by building fueling stations that shift more cars and truck from foreign oil to American natural gas.. protect land for future generations we are becoming a global leader in solar energy... too 4 billion a year to fossil fuels who dont need it.. set new standard for cars and trucks.. drive down oil imports.. the debate is settled, climate change is a fact.. fix our broken immigration system.. that every American has the skills to fill those job.. we know how to do it.. Andra Rush. train American with the skills employers need, and match them to jobs that need to be filled right now.. more on the job training and apprenticeships... unemployment insurance expired... early education... women and equal pay... paternity leave ... raise federal minimum wage $10.10... Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Mali... must disable those networks... large scale deployment may feed extremism... close Guantánamo... American diplomacy ,backed by the threat of force... Syrias threat is being eliminated... Israeli and Palestinian.. Israel a Jewish state that knows America will always be at there side... halted parts of Irans nuclear program on enriched uranium, preventing production of a nuclear bomb... free people from fear and to want... Olympic stadium ,team USA bring home the gold... a new generation of heros return to civilian life.. help veterans translate their skills...
