ok...February 22 nd Surfing for disable is on at Flat Rock Currumbin. I have emailed the organization and below you have all the details. Pls...it is a Sunday...if you dont have anything planned come and do it or come and support the rest. There is a park to hang out afterwards. It is the last swimming of the season and the $20 fees are not required because of it this time. Anyway, any contribution I will be collecting it for making a donation to the cause. Remember, everyone is welcome no matter the degree of disability. Volunteers will be looking after you. It is on waist height water and broken waves. Mirian, Thankyou for getting in touch with Disabled Surfers Association. We would love to have you guys come down on the 22nd Feb to participate in our final Hands On Day of the 2014-15 season. Sign in for any volunteers is 9:00am QLD time and participants and carers is 9:30am QLD time at Flat Rock Beach / Len Wort Park Currumbin. As this is the final event of the season I believe we will not be needing memberships from any new surfers however, if anybody wishes to come back next season a $20 season membership will need to be completed. This membership allows the surfer to get in the water at any Hands On Day run by Disabled Surfers Association at all Australian and New Zealand branches.
