ok. I posted this ages ago but it got deleted cause I like changing my mind. So 3 years ago I decided to upload some music I had been working on in my garage to the big bad internet. since then I’ve been to places I didn’t even know existed and met people who showed me there are more than one way to live. there are very few artists who can say they’ve toured the wold on just on EP release and even fewer who can say they did it without compromise. I never signed with a major label to guarantee a career, and I never censored myself for the sake of marketability. I put my faith in my music. Earlier this year I release my debut album ‘Built On Glass’ I recorded this myself in a self-setup recording space. I wrote all the songs entirely and put my personal experience into them. I performed, recorded and engineered every track on the record. This record does not belong to a label head, it does not belong to a marketing genius (see twitter rants @Chet_Faker) or strong relationships to media outlets. before I was doing any of that stuff, you guys were supporting me. you came to my shows all across the world and sold a lot of them out even when I couldn’t afford to print posters or pay to advertise. you were listening to my music and sharing it when radio wouldn’t play my music because it wasn’t “mixed properly” or it was too much of a risk. So big shout out to all of you who have been with me since the beginning and everyone else who is appreciating my music on any level. I do this because I love it, first and foremost. As long as you are supporting me I never have to compromise, and for that I say THANK YOU. This record belongs to you and me and nothing in between. pz
