ok facebook friends, i really wanted to stay out of all this online drama that the george zimmerman verdict seems to have created. but i just cant bite my tongue anymore. i know alot of people are emotional and have taken the verdict to heart, but ive read too many inconsistencies in the last few days so i feel compelled to atleast share my own feelings. first of all, george zimmerman isnt a murderer. murder, by definition implies that zimmerman had the intent to kill, which i think its fair to say he didnt have. second, it was never proved that zimmerman had malice aforethought – originally malice aforethought carried its everyday meaning – a deliberate and premeditated killing of another motivated by ill will. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder As to why he didnt catch a manslaughter charge, thats really is beyond me. But, if you want to be mad at anybody be mad at the BS stand your ground laws and the prosecution that couldnt handle what shouldve been a slam dunk involuntary manslaughter case.Involuntary manslaughter is the unlawful killing of a human being without malice aforethought, either express or implied.
