ok so I saw the movie The Equalizer, and the verdict is in... youtu.be/o6F6u5TIUbI 9 out of 10. It was a good movie. well directed, well written, nice action, simple and easy. it was not too showy and it did not pull any deus ex machina shit. makes me happy to see an action movie that is more grounded were the protagonist plans out their actions and then executes them. Now all Hollywood has to do is do more of this in action movies from now on instead of giving people the superman BS. it causes the superman effect and that is bad just plain bad. if the protgonist is a one man army then they cant just go ham and win all the time because of reasons. They have to show the process so the victory is more believable or at least more impressive. We need (to some extent) the Batman effect. One more thing I do not care how Hollywood does it but we all need to see Denzel Washington take on Liam Neeson. Equalizer 2 or Taken 4 perhaps? hell if it is the two of them playing chess i will pay money to watch that too. MAKE IT HAPPEN HOLLYWOOD MAKE IT HAPPEN...
