one thing thats absolutely terrifying.... ....is seeing other people who are putting forth their own projects....and just failing so badly. whether its music, writing, film....I mean, I hate to be such a hater (not really), but its just terrifying that so many people out there cannot take a step back and look at their own work and not be mortified. AND IT GETS LIKES. For the most part, Im VERY confident about my work. But, then I look at other peoples work and Im just like, Okay, I need someone to come along and tell me this is garbage IMMEDIATELY. The worst things your work can ever be: 1) Look phony 2) Look cheesy 3) You take yourself too seriously 4) Pretentious 5) You dont understand who you are and what you should be putting across. You dont see yourself. For example.... https://youtube/watch?v=kfVsfOSbJY0 This was made by a 13 year old....and its really a lot better than a lot of what I see made by 21-40 year olds- lyric-wise, vocally, video-concept, girl knowing who she is. That is terrifying.
