only a few more days on the ship, yesterday we were out on the Zodiak and the waters were so choppy. It was freezing cold and we had just spent some time at a beautiful glacier. We were on our way back to the ship and at first we thought we saw the back of a whale but after waiting very patiently 4 curious walruses with long white tusks poked their heads out of the ocean right beside us!! They were so amazing with their playful soft eyes and whiskers. They hung out with us for about 20 minutes and then just like they were waving they raised up their flippers and tails and disappeared into the emerald darkness. It was nothing beyond amazing. Then today when we were out and about again freezing cold and fog everywhere we spotted a polar bear. We managed to get about 30 feet from the shore he\she was on. Again absolutely no fear it just laid down and crossed its paws and put its snout down and chilled out. I took about 50 pics and it was just so adorable. I seriously wanted to climb ashore and snuggle but the crew held me back. Only two days left here and I am already sad to leave...
