orthopedics.about/cs/arthritis/g/synovitis.htm This is what is wrong with my wrist. Probably originally caused by the trauma but the RA has impeded healing. I have to wear the brace ALL THE TIME & under no circumstances put my thumb in an upwards position. So no thumbs up even if you do a great job! lol. I will be getting OT 3 times a week for the next 2 weeks which will consist of some kind of steroid patch that they put heat on or something or other and it feels like a bunch of ants crawling on your skin. Yeah, Kylie was with me, it was hard to listen. :/ Anyway, if that doesnt work then off to Orthopedics I go to determine if a shot will help or if Ill need surgery. Lets all keep thinking No Surgery! Ok? Angie Johnson Im sure you can enlighten me to the steroid/crawling ant procedure? :)
