our NYE dinner: so here was our second favorite bite of the trip, at Tasty & Alder: brussels sprouts prepared much like the Pok Pok wings - roasted, then fried, then tossed in a caramelized sugar and fish sauce. really delicious. the other pic is goat cheese dumplings arrabiata, also very delish. we shared a salad of radicchio with lardons, manchego, chopped six minute egg, no pic, BF had steak frites, also no pic, and i had a tiny portion of flat Iron Washimi Wagyu with px sherry glaze. afterwards, we went to the diviest bar around and spent NYE with about 8 old drunks who tooted their cardboard horns for a few seconds before going back to their drinks. Wheee!
