our experience in mt lofty was extraordinary today.on our way back from the hill, very early this morning,we saw a man collapse in front of us.ambulance was called.but before they came.He already had a cardiac arrest.without wasting time.CPR already commenced. and luckily lots of us at the scene was from medical field.theres 2 nurses and 3 doctors and even one of them has pocket mask on his back pack.mouth to mouth resuscitation rendered.with everyones expertise, we take turns.15mins or more, the ambulance arrived.defib came.adrenaline.amiodarone and fluid bolus given. 3 shocks in total.Luckily the man survived.I learned a lot from this experience. presence of mine is so important.early resuscatation is so crucial for survival.teamwork with everyones expertise is deemed necessary.and pocket mask in ur back pack or in ur wallet can help. I feel so priviledged God used us as his instrument to save somebodys life.This is what I called ...Holy friday.
