our sweet foster Donatello died suddenly and unexpectedly last night. Two hours before he died, our newest foster Opal was delivered to us. I really just wanted to go to bed early and be sad, but Opal was barking wanting attention. So I walked her 3 miles and enjoyed watching her almost skipping because she was so happy to be off a rope. I believe having a dog is good treatment for grief because dogs dont care if youre sad. They just want love, a walk, and to be fed.
