outstanding program. i received my kidney transplant 11/18/2014 at the rochester minnesota clinic. got home today a week early. it is truly a team approach for both recipients and living donors. the doctors the team comes to see you each day you are in recover in the hospital. then you see them individually during follow up appointments. very great supportive approach. i was part of a 3x3 paired donation chain. my team leader told me today that my heart function improved greatly just in tge time from transplant to yesterdays echocardiogram. all lab numbers stabilizing nicely. the team explains each and every option and then again before the start a procedure. highly recommend the mayo clinics for those looking to get a transplant.
