[preferred to para; Either gender open, plot goes where ever it goes. You may PM a reply if it is more comfortable.] The males footsteps resounded through the empty streets of the city, a dark blanket of night draped over the sky and stretching into the distance as he made his way down the block. His steps, when observed closely were hasty- sometimes even sloppy through laced with a impotent determination as he moved. Renos eyes flickered across the area, his senses on a normal day were honed- easily controlled. The werewolf despised full moons, loathed the fact that he could feel the wolf manifest in him and claw against him in a ferocious way that didnt make him feel like they were cooperating. The last full moon he succumbed unfortunately, but he was hoping to control it this time. A sudden surge of energy twisted up his spine and dug into the base of his skull, sending him to his feet with a hissing groan of pain he managed to keep below a scream as his senses flushed. A piercing ringing noise wracked his head, hands clutching either side of his face as he braced himself through the wave, not without a string of violent cursing of course. The ringing began to subside duly and Reno was able to rock back on his heels, knees stabilized on the frigid cement of the sidewalk. A ragged breath escaped him as his eyes, the usually bland green hues now a vibrant glowing emerald beneath his messy, slightly curly raven hair and shadowed by the miscellaneous ball cap he had shoplifted earlier that day. Reno adjusted the straps of his backpack, taking a deep breath and pushing himself to his feet. He made sure to inhale like his older brother had taught him years ago, that aching ravenous sensation burning in him and as the wolf snapped furiously against his rib cage. It took another ten minutes but Reno finally made it to the old run down apartments nestled in an abandoned park to the south side of the city. Practically stumbling toward the side of the building to lean against the crumbling brick and sigh, every breath was unpaced now and he tried desperately to get it under wraps. But he lurched forward, ripping the bag off his shoulders and forcing the hat to fall from his head. His hair waved in different directions in a seemingly unkempt fashion as he fell to all fours with a pained growl. Oh- god-! The voice rippled through with his young seventeen year old voice matured but not completely set, dragging in another lungful of air as he tore off his long sleeve shirt, his shoulder displacing awkwardly before he forced it back, teeth bared to cope with the pain. But he could hear footsteps, they sounded far away, crunching against leaves as they echoed but his senses were not to be trusted at the moment.
