rough draft Chapter 3 Pre Genesis “In the beginning God created - TopicsExpress

rough draft Chapter 3 Pre Genesis “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:1-3 When these verses are looked at in the original Hebrew, the first word that jumps out is the Hebrew verb “Bara” meaning to create, to shape, to form, of new conditions and circumstances. So when translated correctly, it becomes clear right away that Genesis is referring to the reformation of an already existing earth. If the intent was to describe the creation of a new earth from nothing, the Hebrew word “Techillah” meaning the creation of something new or first in a series, would have been used. The Hebrew word “waw” used in genesis 1:2, can be translated as “and” or “but”. When we use “but”, it becomes. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. But the earth was without form and void”. This would imply that God created the heaven and the earth, then through divine judgment, the earth had become wrecked of its form and was void of inhabiting life. So when translated correctly, we learn that the earth was in fact reshaped from a previously existing earth. Which we learn in (Jeremiah 4:23-26 and Isaiah 24:1) was made waste and empty by judgment. Then the reformation of our earth began around 6,000 years ago when “the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” This was the first day of the new beginning: light diffused. Now that we are finally looking at scripture from the right translation, we are able to accept this idea of a very old earth. Scientists have found proof on two different continents that a meteorite storm hit the earth more than 12,000 years ago. Among the findings were large quantities of melt glass which forms at 1,700 degrees (equal to an atomic bomb). Researchers believe that most life would have died on impact and the rest would have frozen to death from the sun being blocked by debris. Then the sun stayed blocked out for thousands of years until the “Spirit of God moved across the face of the waters” and said “let there be light”. This then lines up with the fossil record and explains the large numbers of extinct animals including dinosaurs and early hominid man. It also explain the huge jump in technology that took place around 6,000 years ago from primitive hominid man, to Adam, created in God’s own image. It also explain why there are no missing links found that would support evolution. It pretty much just makes everything fit and make sense, funny how the truth does that.
