Printing in the Cherokee Language Southwestern Community Colleges Swain Center Cherokee Printing: This class will explore printing in the Cherokee language, including historical and contemporary developments. Students will learn the basics of letterpress using a hand printing press. Students will first print in English and then produce printing projects using the Cherokee writing system while learning the basics of letterpress printing.
