sheltered publishing art director with no knowledge of hollywood and its gauging structure requires financial advice : a high end production company is doing a big budget movie of one of our books, complete with a-list movie stars. big big movie. they want to purchase the rights to our in-house custom title type, not the whole cover design, just the title typography... which is somewhat artful. for use in the film and all media. any advice on what would be a high end price to ask for without also seeming like we are absolutely insane? as close to insane as possible, without actually crossing that line, would be the preference.
