They place bets with small amounts of money and race their boats along the beach. They are powered very effectively by the wind in the small sale and steering is via a small rudder which they set course before the race. Rules are no interference unless the boat sinks, at which point the owner sets it right and leaves it again to the wind. Whoever has the most efficient design, usually ends up winning. back in November 2014
