so since 2006 (freshman year of HS) I have been dealing with these foot issues. ER visit twice. Docs and Emergicenter visits as well. All tell me plantar fasciitis and give me boots to wear that throw my back out and pain meds to temporarily relieve the pain while i continued to do things on my feet including marching band and guard and life. Ive dealt with it summing it up to it is what it is. So I go see a foot specialist today because Im starting to hear that the pain isnt in the right spot for plantar fasciitis, as well as the pain is moving up my ankle...now if you consider that 2 visits to the ER and one to the Emergicenter equaling 3 different times that I have had x-rays done for this...and NOONE saw that I have an entire extra bone in both feet?! This foot specialist meets me has an x-ray and comes in 5 mins later and is able to just point it out plain as day to me...-_- good to know whats wrong, irritated to have gone all this time not knowing, thankful that surgery isnt my only option, and hopeful that the inserts will work and allow me to avoid having to have the surgery.
