so this weekend we have paige and heat make sandwiches in the park (not in the park :). they are going back to their roots and making some bomb-ass sammies, along with pasta salads from Cathi Anderson Sheetz , Julie Overend Dawson, and Tamara Pursley von Foerster chips donated from Homegrown foods, and desserts from Lisa Beard Shevey. ANYONE WHO CAN STAY TO HELP, OR SHOW UP JUST TO HELP, PLEASE DO :) sunday is chicken sammies from Daniel Campbell, potato casseroles from Pagie and Jen, and to go sammies from Toni Henry. Mark-Melinda Welch are bringing texas sheet cakes for the whole group :). we are going through drinks like gang busters so we can still use sodas, powdered drinks, powerades, gallons of hawain punch, capri suns WHATEVER IS ON SALE!! imagine being outside all night and most of the day when its 95 and humid.... we like to hydrate the hell out of everyone :) and on a related, but seemingly unrelated note, im headed south next week with money and space in my trunk for bug spray!! last year i cleaned out the dollar generals in mississippi and alabama, i plan on doing the same this year!
