started dishwasher before i went to pick up kids today... came back to a flood. kitchen was soaked, water was poring out of the light fixture in the basement, holes in drywalled basement ceiling, basement carpeting soaked, basement wall wet about 6 inches up. ugh... pulled carpet back, ripped out padding, had to shut off water to the dishwaser (water inlet valve apparently broken on the dishwasher). tim is out renting fans and buying a dehumidifier.
