the official title of my conversation with Joseph Klafter at EduAction is: 14:25 – הפקולטה למדעי האקזיט - פרופ יוסף קלפטר, נשיא אוניברסיטת תל אביב בשיחה עם אדן שוחט, מייסד Aleph the topic for our discussion is whether university degree is required/important. the obvious angle is a high-school dropout that never completed a uni degree vs. a president of a university. we have 20 minutes. how would you suggest making it less corny? the obvious point for me is that a typical intelligence core person leaves the army at 21-23. a degree would then mean that israelis start being productive at 24-25. the (unrelated) opposing point would be that though there are many successful college dropouts not only correlation does not imply causation - there are many college dropouts in jail and other less successful outcomes. oh, screw it, im just excited being able to meet up with the Woz.
